I Am Human is one of the most personal pieces of commercial work I have made. Created for a BIPOC executive search firm, the film makes the case — simply, powerfully, and without apology — for why diversifying your C-suite is not a corporate checkbox but a human imperative.
The film was produced in partnership with Natanya Barrocks, who led production, while I directed, shaped the narrative, and edited the final cut. Every creative decision was made in service of one goal: to make the viewer feel the weight of what is lost when talent is overlooked because of who a person is rather than what they are capable of.
This is a film that carries my heart and my voice as a director. It is the kind of work that reminds me why I do this.
