Dear Black Dad screened at the American Black Film Festival, Essence Festival, Toronto Black Film Festival, and Swedish International Film Festival — establishing Tristan Barrocks as a filmmaker of international standing. The film sparked national conversation about Black fatherhood in Canada.

Directed Mother to Mother and the Destination Canada BlackFoodie Guide TV Mini Series. Joined the OYA Arts Coalition Scale Up Business Bootcamp — deepening his commitment to building infrastructure for Black creatives in Canada.

Appointed Professor of Digital Media at Seneca College, Toronto. Selected for the Diversity of Voices Initiative (CMPA) for the first time. Appointed judge for the Canada Media Fund Racialized Production Portfolio. Directed Wallflower web series. W3 Award winner.

Selected as part of the South African MIP Africa delegation — representing Canadian Black filmmakers on an international stage. Selected for the Diversity of Voices Initiative for the second consecutive year. A Letter From The Fathers won at the Swedish International Film Festival, Five Continents International Film Festival, and Daddying Film Festival, accumulating 10+ international selections.

Returned to MIP Africa as part of the South African delegation for the second consecutive year. Sugar Dumplin' won at Crown Point International Film Festival and accumulated 13+ international festival selections including ABFF and Pan African Film Festival. Continued as CMF Racialized Production Portfolio judge through 2025.

Directing Beyond The Resort — a Caribbean travel web series following journalist Natalie Preddie. Echoes Of Care: A Mouth Without Words selected at Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival. The work continues.
